TASTES LIKE:
Asian fusion. Staple ingredients of an home-made Indian curry are highlighted by the distinct tastes of lemon grass and ginger for a full flavor experience. This is the spiciest and most flavorful of my seasonings.
BEST WITH:
Red meats, flavorful fish, vegetable stews, lentils and legumes. Try it on the grill with pork ribs on the grill!
HOW TO:
Make a quick dinner curry with anything in your fridge or pantry or throw some ribs on the grill - it will not disappoint. Bake it, fry it, grill it, smoke it, broil it or boil it - it will taste amazing. My personal favorites are dry rubbed grilled ribs, mung or channa dal and all sorts of curries.
This, as my first review noted, is my favorite of the three spice blends. It gives a hint, well more than a hint of a traditional Indian curry and with a bit of cayenne pepper, a tad of salt and coconut milk added, you come away with a very nice curry sauce that adds nicely to whatever you pair it with. It is a definite 5 our of 5 and an easy, tasty way to whip up a delicious meal in minutes. Tod date I've tried it with Tofu and for the meat eaters around me, chicken - everyone loves it!
This was fire. Went really well on some pork ribs I made the other day and also didn’t mess my stomach up. Would recommend to anyone trying to make quick and tasty dinners.
Not only did our family enjoy these packs, but our in-laws family of picky eaters loved these as well. There will be many more orders from both of our families.
Love it. We eat this all day long, adding more or less depending on how spicy we want the burn. We tried toning it down into a creamy curry with a dollop of yogurt over peppers, onions, tofu, and the Silk Road- and it was the best home made curry I've ever made, and at least 300% easier. Threw in a pinch with a fritata for breakfast and it added a lovely new depth.
